As of November 3, 2008, all data seen on this website is from a new weather station at a new location. Ramapo Valley Weather has moved to a new house
about 200 yards to the East-Northeast of its prior location. The new weather station in use is, like the old one, a Davis Vantage Pro 2 with Fan-Aspirated
Radiation Shield. Due to the new station's close proximity to the old station, most weather variables will remain more or less the same at the new station.
However, the new station has better wind exposure, so wind speed and direction readings are expected to improve. Also new to Ramapo Valley Weather are the
PDF Local Climatological Data reports on the "Archived Wx (Weather) Reports" page; the PDF reports replace the old HTML versions.
